To create a component, you click “Create Component”, now how to remove it ?
There is no minus button, delete doesn’t work…nor does backspace…
so…

And also…how do you orbit around a selected object in the editor ? The FPS walk though navigation method is not very intuitive for someone who have been using 3DS Max for decades.

THANKS !

Once you expand the component panel there’s a delete button in there:

ALT+LMB should orbit… “F” centers camera on selected object.

The editor is still a WIP though and has some issues.

Hello @suwewewd, have you seen some of the Getting Started documentation: https://github.com/AtomicGameEngine/AtomicGameEngine/wiki/Getting-Started there are some hotkeys here: https://github.com/AtomicGameEngine/AtomicGameEngine/wiki/Scene-Editor-Hotkeys

Thank you Atomic Founder, your links have been very helpful.

In the links you send me, I now know that orbit is “Alt+Mouse Drag”, Zoom is “Alt + Mouse Wheel” but I didn’t see Mouse Pan, though I see Keyboard Pan.

Is there a Mouse Pan ?
In 3DS Max its Control+Middle Mouse Button.

I’m afraid there’s no mouse panning, the closest way to achieve that at the moment is holding the RMB and using the QEAD, but that’s not ideal. While it shouldn’t be too hard to implement that, at the moment the development is not focused on the editor, which need some work, but naturally contributions are very welcome, even if just feedback.
