Atomic Build 3 moved to Thursday, January 19th

Hey all,

I’ve decided to move Atomic Build 3 to this Thursday for a bit more time on some things I need to get into it. This also gives a little more time for any issues others would like to get into the build.

Here’s a link to the build 3 milestone: https://github.com/AtomicGameEngine/AtomicGameEngine/milestone/3

Ok, the good thing, (once your eyes are done burning from that list), is that we have good stuff for the build already, and these are rolling builds, so if we don’t hit something it can be moved to Build 4

It is fair to say that this will be the case, and likely always will be, the important thing is that we’re making great progress  I also think Thursdays are a good target for shipping builds, as this allows for addressing major issues with a hotfix on Friday.

I will post Windows and macOS release candidates to the forums during build day for testing, before they go live on the Atomic site. Help with testing Atomic builds is greatly appreciated and a big thanks to @CTrauma for helping provide Linux testing on major distros :dromedary_camel:

I’d like to get some documentation on Atomic Builds up in the wiki, also happy to discuss them in general as they are still kind of being invented :rocket:

Ok, Build 3 is pretty much ready to push through CI, though adding array inspector fields for C# ended up taking more time than I anticipated, https://github.com/AtomicGameEngine/AtomicGameEngine/pull/1396, so no RC’s today.

We’ll be pushing a RC tomorrow in the AM (Pacific Standard Time) and will be posting links to them here for anyone interested in testing for critical issues :fire::camel::fire:

Getting there, RC on CI and coming sooooooon! :dromedary_camel:

… and Atomic Build 3 RC1 released :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for helping test if you have some time!
